Why Green Masking Tape?
Green masking tape is the standard colour code for automotive-grade and industrial paint masking applications across Canadian and North American finishing operations. The bright green colour provides high visibility against bare metal, primer, and dark substrates — making it easy to confirm complete masking coverage before applying paint or powder coat. The 5.5-mil thickness gives it more body and tear resistance than standard beige masking tape, reducing mid-application breaks on complex masking jobs.

Clean Removal
The rubber-based adhesive is formulated for clean removal without adhesive transfer, ghosting, or substrate damage when removed within the recommended time window. For best results, remove tape within 24 hours of application and before fully cured paint or coating has bonded with the tape edge. Not recommended for extended outdoor exposure or temperatures above rated specification.
